“Last year a friend convinced me to attend the Good Food and Wine Show in Perth. At that time I could hardly be referred to as a connoisseur, more a philistine really. My friend and I stumbled (literally) into the Wine Selectors stand. A very affable young gent offered us a taste and a spiel about the merits of Wine Selectors.
Unlike many decisions made under the influence of the crimson nectar, the decision to sign up with the Regional Series has proved one of my better ones, sober or otherwise.
Each quarter I receive my regional selection which enables me to sample wines from a different region in Australia. I am educated about the area and my senses are tuned to the regional nuances and variations of each selection. I used to think that wine was just wine, but Wine Selectors has opened my eyes and tastebuds to this ever-changing world.
Even though this journey has a long way to go, I can now tell a Merlot from a Cabernet, a Margaret River from a Coonawarra and thanks to the quality of the wines delivered by the experts, I often out-class my cultured friends with the fantastic drop I open to share with a meal. That’s priceless. I can not recommend Wine Selectors highly enough and I encourage anyone with even the slightest interest in wine to take the plunge.”
