Ingredients
Serves 4
- 12 Scallops in the shell
- 1 tsp Extra Virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Mirin sweet Japanese rice wine
- 1 cm ginger, finely grated
- Freshly ground sechuan pepper or black pepper
- Rocket, for serving
Method
- Place the scallops in the shell on a grill rack.
- Combine the olive oil, mirin, ginger and pepper, then spoon over the scallops. Place under a very hot grill and cook for 2 minutes or until just cooked through.
- Serve in the shells on a bed of rocket
