The Canberra region is divided into three sub-regions – Bungendore/Lake George, Hall and Murrumbateman. This region was re-established in the 1970s, with the area growing to support in excess of 20 wineries and 350 hectares of vines. Most wineries are less than 30 minutes drive from Canberra.
