The Hilltops region includes the sub-regions of Boorowa, Harden and Young, with the latter being the home of the well-known McWilliam’s Barwang vineyard. Due to its altitude, this region provides a long and even ripening period. Producers such as Chalkers Crossing and Grove Estate produce fine, elegant styles with an almost ‘mineral-like’ complexity.
