Great Southern, WA

Great Southern covers a huge land area 200km by 100km. It contains the sub-regions of Albany, Denmark, Frankland River, Mount Barker and Porongurup. It winemaking days are quite recent, with vines not planted until the 1960s in Mount Barker.
