Manjimup

The name ‘Manjimup’ is Noongar Aboriginal and means ‘manjin’ – an edible reed - and ‘up’ – a meeting place.

Famed for its beautiful rolling farmland and towering karri forests, this small wine region covers the area surrounding the charming country town of Manjimup in the Southern Forests of Australia's South West.

Pinot Noir is widely planted, but its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are beginning to make a name for themselves. Increasingly popular Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho wines are also being produced here.
