Swan District, WA
The Swan district is an extensive area that can be found north of Perth. The region dates back to the early 1800’s when both wine and fruit was the horticultural currency of the time.
The region is of historical relevance as it helped develop the reputation of Western Australian wines. The Swan Valley is the oldest wine region in Western Australia and is famed for legendary winemaker Jack Mann who was instrumental in producing wines at Houghton’s for over fifty vintages.
