March/April Food Match Winner

As part of the March/April Member Survey we asked you to tell us what you would love to eat most with a bottle of Trentham Estate Pinot Noir 2009. We thought it might be near impossible to equal the food match that appeared in the Wine Selectors 2011 Calendar but somehow Chris Rowell‘s suggestion has risen to the challenge: “slow cooked rabbit - infused with cardamom; cinnamon; cumin; cloves; bay leaf; celery and dried apricots. March/April Survey Results

Our recent March/April survey asked you all about Wine Selectors’ catalogues and the results are in. Wine packs with a regional focus and straight variety mixed cases took out the title of most popular. Shiraz took out top red and Sauvignon Blanc is the most popular white. It seems range is key when it comes to catalogues, with emerging varieties like Sangiovese and Moscato a welcome inclusion.
