Savoury Cardamom Biscuits served with Gruyere cheese & Honey

Makes 40 biscuits
Preheat oven to 180ºC
Ingredients
- Gruyere cheese
- Honey
For the biscuits
- 125g unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- ¼ cup cornflour
- 1½ tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tbls milk
Method
- Cream butter and then add egg. Fold in the flours, cardamom and milk. Take teaspoons of the mixture and roll into balls. Place on greased baking sheets and bake for 15 minutes.
- Cool and then serve biscuits with sliced Gruyere cheese and honey.
