The Regional Series is our most popular way to buy wine. That’s because it’s the most convenient way for you to explore the many wine regions of Australia without leaving home.
We take you on a wine tour through all 12 of Australia’s major wine areas to discover leading wines, varieties and styles from big and boutique wine producers. Not only does our Tasting Panel taste and judge each wine you receive, they personally travel to each region to talk to the producers and unearth regional gems at the best prices possible.

The Hunter Valley Wine Society has been a popular choice with our Members for 35 years. The Hunter is where the company started and we’re extremely proud of our association with Australia’s oldest wine region.
As a Member you’ll enjoy quality wines from Hunter icons such as Tyrrell’s, Drayton’s, McWilliam’s Mount Pleasant, Brokenwood and Tulloch. These big names are presented along with unique discoveries from the Valley’s leading boutique wineries. You can think of it as taking a tour of the Hunter without leaving home.

Your selections will deliver premium quality wines that these respected winemakers would be proud to call their own. They’ll provide you with special occasion, Australian wines that are bound to impress the refined winelover. To give you a snapshot of the premium quality offered, past selections have included benchmark wines such as Howard Park Sauvignon Blanc, Helm Classic Dry Riesling, Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon and Primo Estate Shale Stone Shiraz.

With over 40 years winemaking experience, including 35 years as winemaker for Lindemans, Karl Stockhausen is responsible for making some of Australia’s most highly-awarded wines. Karl’s expertise and eye for quality see him regularly invited to judge on the Australian Wine Show circuit. Recognising his immense contribution, Karl is now officially one of the Hunter Valley’s ‘Living Legends’.
Hugely knowledgeable but extremely down-to-earth, Karl ensures that Chairman’s Series regular deliveries included celebrated benchmark wines, while also showcasing some rare treasures along the way. These are wines of superb quality that can be enjoyed now or will continue to reward well into the future. Past selections have included Tyrrell’s Vat 47 Chardonnay, Zema Estate Family Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, Ashton Hills Reserve Pinot Noir and Hollick Neilson’s Block Merlot.
The Chairman’s Series 6-packs are delivered four times a year and feature predominantly red wine styles.
