Capercaillie Langsyne Chardonnay 2008

Capercaillie is a small modern winery in the Hunter Valley with 20 year-old vines. This wine was sourced from their Lovedale vineyard, and matured for approximately six months in new French oak to enhance the varietal characteristics. Lemon in colour with lifted esters and nice oak support. Lifted ripe fruit on the palate, this wine is quite viscous with good oak support.
