South of Mount Benson and situated on the rugged coastline is Robe, another region that makes up the Limestone Coast. Declared in 2006, Robe is Australia’s newest wine region. The wines of Robe are generally powerful yet elegant and even though much of the fruit ends up in wines outside the region, the boutique producers of Robe are starting to establish a name for the region in its own right.
