A ‘Wise’ choice if you’re looking for a standout example of a quintessential Australian blend.
The grapes for this wine were harvested during the night from selected Margaret River vineyards at optimum flavour and tanninripeness. The Shiraz Grenache blend is traditionally Australian and this fine example is a great representation of this popular style. The Shiraz offers plums, berries and spice with a rounded palate while the Grenache typically delivers cassis andeucalypt flavours and structure with length of palate. It’s a good red colour with slight brick hues and aromas of tomato bush, blackfruit and licorice. Sweet berry flavours characterise the soft palate which is still youthful. It shows some earthy, foresty complexity.
