2012 Calendar wine - From the cool climate Yarra Valley comes an elegant Chardonnay featuring lovely mineral and slate characters and savoury length. An impressive partner to February's kingfish and salsa verde dish.
According to the team at Allinda, “there is no question that Chardonnay is, and always will be, the finest of all white wine varieties.” It’s little wonder then that this 2010 is so appealing. Light yellow and green in the glass, it has a smoky, complex nose. On the palate it's tight and flinty with lovely mineral and slate characters and savoury length. Overall - a beautifully elegant example of this popular variety.

Highly recommended. I do not drink many Chardonnays any more but I loved this one. I cooked the King fish from the Calender Collection recipe and enjoyed this great Chardonnay which was beautifully matched by the team at wine selectors. Even better no headache the next day.
