Proudly family-owned, Shottesbrooke has forged an enviable reputation for premium wines such as this 2009 Merlot which made The Adelaide Review HOT 100 South Australian Wines. It features ripe black and red fruit aromas and a hint of regional leaf and spice. The palate is youthful and tight yet has ripe fruit and spicy balancing acidity. It's quite varietal with plum, blueberry, a touch of regional leaf and great length.
