A gorgeous, dark red colour in the glass, this aromatic wine has an intense palate of brooding fruit, plush tannins and licorice-like complexity. The Dandelion Vineyards Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 was a Tasting Panel favourite and was sourced from South Australia’s Fleurieu peninsula. The Heirloom Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 has dusty fruit and hints of developed complexity on the nose with a super intense palate with a deep, dark fruit core. Another highlight is The Clone Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, which has a ripe berry fruit palate and finishes with long silky tannins.
