The Barwang vineyard is in the Hilltops region of New South Wales where the 2008 vintage provided cool conditions, perfect for full, ripe Cabernet flavours. The result is this Gold medal winning beauty characterised by vibrant aromas of very ripe prunes, cassis, cedar and raisins.
The ripe cassis characters extend on to the palate along with delicious blackcurrant flavours. It has lovely silky length with a slightly sweet finish. The ideal drop to enjoy with roast beef and crisped potatoes with Cabernet beef jus or Coq au vin rouge.
