Since 1846 ‘cellar men’ of the House of Veuve A. Devaux have been carefully watching every step of the winemaking process to ensure the most outstanding results. As well as the legalities of the Champagne region, Devaux’s own internal rules such as pressing the grapes near where they are picked to minimise harvest transport and long ageing periods that are far beyond appellation standards are your guarantee of superior quality. The Cuvee D is a traditional blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay which greets the nose with sweet complex aromas of green apple and cinnamon. Beautiful flavours of biscuit and toast characterise the palate, which has mouthwatering length, salty savouriness and perfect balance. It’s rich, long and intense with an abundance of creamy lees influence.
