Larmandier-Bernier is a small biodynamic Champagne grower who hand craft small-batches of wine. The yields are very low and their minimal intervention policy in the winery sees them use of indigenous yeasts, long, slow ferments in varying vessels. The dosage is neutral and levels are low to emphasise the wine.
Each wine reflects a particular place, and this Brut Blanc de Blancs is made from Chardonnay grown in the villages of Vertus, Cramant, Avize and Oger and is typical of the Cocircte des Blancs.
Their Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru NV is an elegant and refined, with sweet floral scents and complex pear, chalk and smoky characters, along with an underlying minerality that carries right through to its persistent finish.
