Punt Road Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV

Take a ‘punt’ on this Sparkling and you’re guaranteed to back a winner. Showcasing premium Yarra Valley fruit, it’s been crafted by one of Australia’s ‘young gun’ winemakers, Kate Goodman.
 
Bright pale gold in the glass, it has a fine, persistent bead. The nose is beautiful, dusty and slightly funky with a leesy complexity and a hint of lifted sulphide adding interest. Its tight core displays citrus and apple flavours with nutty, funky background notes. Bready and yeasty with great salty complexity and texture.
