‘Petit’ by name but certainly not by nature! Rich and aromatic, this alternative white comes from Australia’s original Petit Manseng vineyards.
Premium wine production has been in the Miranda family since the early 1930s when Francesco Miranda came to Australia from Italy. The renowned Symphonia label was acquired by Sam Miranda in 2005 and has proved to be a stunning range of wines achieving many medals focusing on rare varietals such as this exquisite Petit Manseng. It has an intense nose with hints of ripe lime under secondary notes of grilled nuts and honey. The mouth-filling, creamy palate is the result of extended lees contact with warm layers of advancing honey, grilled nuts and aged funky notes. This is a wine of interest for those who appreciate quality aged whites.
