This is Yarra Valley goodness through and through. It’s got little to do with tin cows and more to do with stylish, modern Aussie Chardonnay at its best.
Having been in the industry for over 20 years and with a swag of national and international awards under their belt, the TarraWarra team certainly knows a thing or two about producing top quality Chardonnay. The Tasting Panel was particularly impressed with their 2006 vintage, naming it one of their picks for the year. Bright medium straw to yellow in the glass, it has a restrained nose showing slight development with lees influence and nutty oak. The palate is rich, complex and layered with good minerality, quince-like fruit and savoury length. Overall it’s full bodied with savoury persistence.
