Alkoomi Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Alkoomi describes their vineyards, located just 80 kilometres inland from the Southern Ocean, as having “a climatic pattern very similar to that of the best Bordeaux vintages” – perfect for outstanding Cabernet!
 
Deep, dark red with a faint brick hue, this elegant Cabernet has a lifted mix of cassis, earth, mint, crushed leaf and cedary oak aromas. The palate is developing nicely with a velvety texture and still-tight core of red and black berry fruits, lifted minty acidity and firm, grainy tannin depth.
