Koonara Bay of Apostles Sauvignon Blanc 2013

For almost a century the owners of Koonara, the Reschke family, has been farming in Coonawarra, with their focus shifting to planting vineyards and making wine in 1988.
 
Crafted by winemaker Dru Reschke, this very appealing 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw yellow in the glass with lovely lifted gooseberry and citrus aromas. The palate is light-bodied and austere, yet juicy and generous with lime juice, dried herb and nettle bound by crisp acidity.
