Mitchell Sevenhill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

This 2002 vintage Cabernet was described by the Tasting Panel as being “still remarkably fresh from a brilliant vintage in the Clare Valley!”
 
In the glass: Dark brick red.
On the nose: Sweet mint, dried herb, cassis and cedar aromas with fresh, jammy red fruits.
On the palate: Deliciously complex with layers of jubey fruit concentration, minty varietal freshness, rich coffee and mocha depth complemented by damp earth and cedar-like development.
