Thorn-Clarke Sandpiper Riesling 2013

This Top Gold medal winner from the 2013 Adelaide Wine Show is named after the migratory bird which visits the Thorn-Clarke vineyards annually from the northern hemisphere.
 
Lifted lemon and lime juice aromas characterise the nose of this pale lemon green coloured wine. Ripe, punchy and tight, the palate is showing lime and citrus varietals, firm acidity and chalky persistence. A classy wine made in a powerful style that will age well.
