From the desert’s edge to rocky coastlines, long hot summers to crisp winter nights, Australia’s Wine Regions span the entire continent and are widespread and diverse in nature. With boutique producers nestled alongside some of the world’s largest producers, Australia boasts an industry of over 1700 wineries.
Presently, the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation officially recognises 34 wine zones, nearly 60 wine regions and a dozen or so wine sub-regions. At Wine Selectors, we have simplified and grouped the wine zones (or regions) into 12 leading wine producing areas. Simply click on the area you are interested in to learn more about one of these wine producing areas.
