We select to the highest standards: Using Australian Wine Show judging criteria, the Panel assesses 1000s of wines every year and only those that receive at least a Bronze medal score make it through. All wines are tasted blind (the bottle is covered) to ensure impartiality.

We select to make choice easier: Our Tasting Panel creates wine collections to suit seasons, occasions and what our members love, not only making choice easy, but also giving you a real sense of discovery.

2. How are the wines selected?

Every year, our Tasting Panel tastes and rates thousands of wines from all over Australia. They use the Australian Wine Show judging system where every wine is blind tasted (the bottle is covered in a cloth bag) and they assess the colour, nose and palate, reaching a score out of 20 (18.5-20 = Gold medal, 17.0-18.4 = Silver medal, 15.5-16.9 = Bronze medal). Only wines that achieve at least a Bronze medal score are selected for you, ensuring you receive the freshest, most exciting and very best quality wines.

3. Can I choose my own wines?

Yes. While the Wine Selectors Tasting Panel puts together some fantastic mixed selections, perhaps you have a few favourites you’d like to combine or maybe you’re choosing for a loved one with very specific tastes. Whatever the reason, the ability to pick your own case is now at your fingertips. To put together your own selections, simply follow the steps below.

STEP 1 Find the wine you want by using the search tools or by looking through red wine, white wine or other styles..

STEP 2 Select the number of bottles of wine you’d like to buy. Receive a discount of up to 10% if you buy 6 – 11 bottles and a discount of up to 15% if you buy 12 bottles or more. NB: Pre-configured packs and offers that include less than 6 bottles, or a bottle and a gift, do not count towards the Your Favourites discount price.

STEP 3 Click on 'Add to cart'.

STEP 4 Go through the checkout process and wait for your wine to arrive, then enjoy!

4. Can I try the wine before I buy?

Wine Selectors has Cellar Doors at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth domestic airports. You’re welcome to call in any time you’re flying to taste some of the wines we have on offer.

5. Can someone assist me with selecting the right wine?

All wines offered by Wine Selectors are chosen by our expert Tasting Panel, so you can be assured that every wine has been judged to be of medal-winning standard. And if you don’t like a wine, for any reason, it’s covered by our 100% Money Back Guarantee.

7. Can I buy Wine Selectors wines at bottle shops?

Wine Selectors has relationships with over 400 Australian wineries and some of their wines are available in bottle shops. However, many smaller, boutique wineries – despite producing fantastic wine – can’t compete with the larger producers for regular retail shelf space.

Through Wine Selectors’ support of boutique producers, you have access to hundreds of wines, normally only available at cellar door.

8. I would like to make a corporate order, but you don’t have enough of the packs I want online. Can I make a large order?

10. If I really like one of the wines in my Cellar Door Release selections, can I order more of that wine only?

Yes. All the wines you receive in your regular deliveries are available for reorder. Simply:

1. Log in to your account and re-order through your order history. If you don’t have an account, create one here or

2. Search our website for your favourite wine, or

3. Call our Customer Service Team on 1300 303 307. You can also choose one-off selections from some of our Cellar Door Releases, and each selection comes with a copy of Selector and bonus tasting notes.

11. How can I give feedback on a wine I’ve tried?

We’d love to hear your feedback on any of the wines you’ve tried. Simply:

1. Search for the wine you’d like to review by entering its name in the search field. Click on the bottle to view its full details.
2. Click on the ‘Review this wine’ button.
3. Give the wine a rating out of five stars with five being the highest score.
4. Fill in your name and give your review a title.
5. Tell us what you think of the wine. You can include what you loved about its aromas and tastes, or perhaps you created a delicious food match you’d like to share.

3. What is the price range on Cellar Door Releases?

We have a range of superb wine selections, catering for every budget and lifestyle. They range from our Entertainers' Releases that have an average dozen price of $147, right through to our Chairman's Releases, featuring ultra premium wines with a 6-pack price of $287.

4. Why has my Cellar Door Release price changed?

In December 2015 there was a small price increase on Cellar Door Releases of 2.5%, or about 30-40 cents per bottle. This price increase reflects the increased business costs of sourcing and selecting high quality wines from across the country and maintaining a high level of customer service for our members. This is the first price increase in two years and is below the cumulative CPI rate of 4.3% All terms and conditions state that prices are subject to change, however, we do everything to minimise these increases.

5. How often will my Cellar Door Releases be delivered? Can I change the frequency?

Most regular wine deliveries arrive at your designated address approximately every eight weeks. While the frequency is set, all of our Cellar Door Releases can be customised to suit you. You are also free to skip or hold a delivery at any time.

6. Do I have to have an equal mix of reds and whites in my selections?

Yes, if you select the mixed dozen as your style preference there will be an equal mix of reds and whites. However, by simply calling us on 1300 303 307 before your delivery is dispatched, you can change your style preference to an all red or all white selection to meet your specific requirements.

7. How do I change my Cellar Door Release style preferences?

To change your style or varietal preference, give our Customer Service Team a call on 1300 303 307, 8.30am–6pm, Monday to Friday

8. Am I under any on-going commitment if I select a Cellar Door Release?

No. Our Cellar Door Releases are completely flexible. If you are unable to take a delivery, let us know at your earliest convenience. There is no financial catch if you decide to skip or stop your deliveries.

9. Do I have to pay a membership fee?

Yes, we will renew your membership every 12 months automatically at $22 (inc. GST) for one year. That way you won't miss out on any of your wine deliveries, event invitations, Selector magazine or great Member specials!

10. Are the prices of my Cellar Door Releases always the same as the first one I receive?

All of your Cellar Door Releases are priced the same or similar as the first one. However, prices are subject to change.

11. Can I manage my Cellar Door Releases online?

You can view your regular wine delivery program online, however, if you wish to change your style or varietal preference, or alter your contact details, please call our Customer Service Team on 1300 303 307.

Please note, changing you wine preferences in your online account does NOT update your deliveries.

12. Do I get anything if I nominate another person to receive Cellar Door Releases?

Yes. Tell your friends about Wine Selectors and when they purchase their first 12 bottles, you will receive a thank you gift. Conditions apply, so visit the refer a friend website for full details.

Payments and Security

1. What payment methods do you accept?

Wine Selectors offers a number of payment methods including PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

When you purchase through Wine Selectors, every credit card transaction occurs within a secure environment. Rest assured, all of your personal information is safe with us.

2. What is PayPal?

With a PayPal account you can make online transactions using your bank account or credit card without having to share your financial information. For full details visit the PayPal page.

3. How do you protect my information?

We use a secure server when you place orders or access your account information on our website. We use a 128-bit SSL security system, which encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Confidential information, such as your address, credit card details and order history, is not stored on the web server but on our own database, which is protected against unauthorised access and is administered in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We collect your personal information for the purposes of competition entry and/or providing products, services and information about these from Wine Selectors. Should you not provide us with this information we may not be able to deliver products and services to you. Information collected will be solely used by Wine Selectors and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may disclose your personal information to external service providers, within Australia and occasionally overseas, that we engage to assist us in doing our business. When this is needed, we ensure that those companies also protect your personal information according to the law and our own stringent standards. 4. Is there insurance on my deliveries?

5. How do I update my credit card details?

Delivery and Returns

1. Can I have my orders sent anywhere?

Wine Selectors can deliver wine to anywhere in Australia, except for areas that are classified by the Australian Government as dry zones or Australian Islands that are classified as in International Waters. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your area, please call our Customer Service Team on 1300 303 307.

2.Will I have problems with wine being delivered because of where I live? I can’t have my wine delivered to my home, where else can you deliver it?

We will endeavour to deliver to your home*, business or PO Box address. If delivery is difficult due to remote areas or security buildings, we can make alternate arrangements that will suit your requirements. Just let us know your requirements and we are confident that we can deliver.

*In remote locations you may have to pick up the wines from the depot in the nearest town. Our service providers are Australia Post and XL Express in Queensland.

3. What happens if I move?

Contact us on 1300 303 307 with the details of your new address as soon as possible because your wine is delivered automatically as per your agreed delivery schedule to the current address we have on file. Australia Post mail redirects do not apply to packages.

4. How long does it take for my wines to arrive?

After receipt of your details and order, deliveries take anywhere from 5 to 10 working days on average, depending on where you live. To check estimated delivery days, visit our Freight Calculator here.

5. Can I track my order?

Yes, when you place an order, we will send you an email when it’s despatched with a tracking link, as well as emails via Australia Post so you can keep track of your wine deliveries.

6. Is there a separate charge for delivery of wine?

Yes, and it varies depending on where you live. You can use our freight calculator to work out the estimated freight costs for your wine delivery.

7. I don’t like one of the wines I received, what can I do?

All wines offered by Wine Selectors are chosen by our expert Tasting Panel, so you can be assured that every wine has been judged to be of medal-winning standard. And if you don’t like a wine, for any reason, it’s covered by our 100% Money Back Guarantee.

8. How do I return a wine?

Wine Selectors accept returns provided the following guidelines are met: The Customer must contact our Customer Service department within 30 days of the delivery and supply relevant information so that we can arrange a carrier to collect the wine. Wine Selectors will then designate a carrier who will make arrangements by phone with the Member for the goods to be collected at a mutually convenient time. The goods must be in good order and have the membership details on the outside of the carton. Upon the receipt and validation of returned goods to Wine Selectors, the membership account will be credited.
