Barbera hails from the cool and hilly region of Piedmont in Italy, which is very similar to Orange. So it makes perfect sense that Barbera thrives there.
In the glass: Medium to deep red.
On the nose: Bright, ripe cherry, red berry, black olive, cola, vegemite and currant lift.
On the palate: Full-bodied with a solid core of dark berry fruit and firm, bold tannins. Delicious now, but will improve in the cellar.
