Biscay Wines John Hongell Shiraz 2006

While this Barossa winemaker has been around since 1998, their volume is extremely small so it’s a privilege to have the opportunity to secure their 2006 Shiraz.
 
With the cellaring done for you, this bright red black Shiraz opens with a lavishly rich nose with black cherry, black pepper and dark chocolate aromas. Super ripe, it shows black cherry and blood plum. It’s still vibrant yet soft and elegant with great texture and savoury, earthy regionality.
