Chalk Hill Shiraz 2014

Chalk Hill’s delightful Shiraz features 5% Barbera, giving immediate softness to the palate and enhancing the floral notes on the nose.
 
In the glass: Youthful deep dark red.
On the nose: Tight dark berry fruit, cassis, black pepper and violet lift.
On the palate: Intense, layered and rich yet not overly heavy with a clean and flavoursome mix
of dark plum, currant and raspberry fruit, loads of peppery spice and youthful yet seamless
and fine tannins.
