Chestnut Grove Small Parcel Merlot 2012

Chestnut Grove is a family owned winery headed by brothers Mark and Paul Kordic who lead the vineyard team and produce cool climate wines with elegance and unique character.
 
This Merlot has aromas of lifted sweet berry, black fruit, licorice and background notes of sage. It’s quite inky and dense yet medium weight with bright, dark berry fruit and soft tannins showing lovely concentration. Oak sits in the background with fresh acidity and slightly leafy length.
