Typical of a Cabernet of this age, it is deep garnet in colour with a tawny rim. Cassis, briar fruits, coffee beans, tobacco leaf and leather lift from the glass, evolving with every smell. Vibrant, long and still showing youthful cassis and plum notes, the layered palate has developing flavours of coffee, coconut rough and dark mint chocolate. The tannins are soft and silky and the wine is buzzing with a barb of mouth-watering acidity
