Lock & Key Pinot Noir 2017

Adelaide Hills and Tumbarumba are emerging as two of the best Pinot regions in South Australia and New South Wales respectively, and the folk at Moppity Vineyards have combined them to great effect here.
 
In the glass: Pale to medium garnet.
On the nose: Ripe red berry and wet earth.
On the palate: Silken with a gamey element adding to the dark cherry, anise and vanilla core. Soft with fresh acidity driving the gentle finish.
