Mea Culpa Shiraz 2010

Innocent Bystanders’ winemakers have long had a fascination with producing wines that are a faithful expression of site and clone and the Mea Culpa label is testament to that ethos.
 
This Shiraz comes from a single vineyard in a protected valley within the Yarra where the cool microclimate and a diversity of aspect and clone provide multifaceted winemaking opportunities.
 
Deep medium red purple in colour, it shows attractive dark red fruits with hints of earth and spice. The vibrant palate has ripe, rich red fruits with intense yet soft tannins, well balanced acidity and elegant persistence. As it has not been filtered of fined, there may be a trace of sediment.
