Mountadam Vineyards Shiraz 2015

Previously at Thorn-Clarke, 2015 was Helen McCarthy's first vintage at Mountadam and she immediately produced wines full of generosity and class.
 
In the glass: Full, deep red.
On the nose: Ripe plum and currant lift.
On the palate: Plush and elegant with generous layers of dark berry, plum and cedary spice. Shows terrific balance and poise throughout to the ripe tannin finish. Really grunty yet with fantastic drinkability!
