An Australian classic, St Henri's style is essentially fruit forward with the time spent ageing in an ancient collection of oversize, well used 1460 litre oak vats softing the tannins without infusing the wine with too much obvious oak character.
In the glass: Dense red purple.
On the nose: Showing lifted red and black fruits, beetroot, dried herbs, chocolate and old oak.
On the palate: Plush and mouth-filling with rich yet elegant layers of fruit and complexing hints of leather and spice. Shows delicious complexity, length and persistence.
