Picarus is Winetrust Estates’ flagship label and their winemaker Mark Arnold sourced fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia’s Wrattonbully region ‘for its unequalled terroir’. This 2009 red is a dense, full red colour in the glass and has powerful plum, blueberry, cassis and cedar on the nose. The palate is dense and ripe with dark berry fruits, hints of coffee and long cedary oak persistence.
