Shottesbrooke, a family owned, boutique McLaren Vale winery, proudly crafts full-bodied, stylish wines. The Single Vineyard Series is the newest addition to their range and features premium wines like this Shiraz from their Blewitt Springs vineyard.
Bright, full red in the glass, it displays ripe red berry and light leafy lift on the nose. Out of a challenging 2011 vintage, the palate is elegant and medium weight with spicy and peppery characters, a dark core of fruit, soft, fine tannins and coconutty oak on the persistent finish.
