Stone Bridge Wines Grenache Mataro 2014

While Shiraz might be the Clare Valley’s most famous red, Stone Bridge shows that its lesser-known red varieties are equally capable of impressing.
 
Medium red in the glass, this Grenache Mataro shows very ripe and rich currant, cassis and background prune aromas. The palate has lovely texture with loads of bright and spicy red berry fruit, velvety texture, ripe tannins and soft length. A fantastic example of this style of blend with all elements in harmony.
