n the winery: After primary fermentation, the wine finished malolactic fermentation and maturation in high quality, tight-grain French oak barriques (30% new), for 12 months. The best barrels were hand selected, blended and further matured until bottling.
In the glass: Medium to deep red.
On the nose: Blackberry, currant, cedar and spice.
On the palate: Rich and full-bodied with excellent balance of spicy cool climate black fruits and ripe tannins. Velvety and plush.
