Vinrock Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2015

The fact that this wine has won a Trophy and 2 x Gold medals soldifies the great reputation of Vinrock and McLaren Vale for Grenache!
 
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Ripe, concentrated red and black fruits with hints of leather, vanillin oak.
On the palate: Rich and robust with dark fruit flavours, a savoury, earthy spine of tannins and liquorice-like flavour length. The obvious oak is punchy, framing the deep fruit flavours.
