Airlie Bank by Punt Road Chardonnay 2014

The preservation of primary fruit characters was the aim in making this 100% Yarra Valley Chardonnay from the Punt Road team led by internationally experienced winemaker Tim Shand.  
 
In the glass: Medium lemon straw.
On the nose: Delicate peach, citrus and light oak lift.
On the palate: Elegant Yarra characters with lovely balance and savoury persistence. Fruit is full flavoured yet fine, elegant and long and the oak is well judged. A lovely modern Chardonnay.
