Awarded an incredible five Trophies and 11 Gold medals to date, the Barwang 842 Chardonnay 2010 comes from McWilliam’s Tumbarumba vineyards, making it one of Australia’s most successful cool climate examples of the style.
Brilliant straw green in colour, it exudes vibrant stonefruit, citrus and struck match aromas. The long palate is classy with intense yet tightly-wound layers of restrained nectarine and fresh grapefruit, zesty acidity and toasty oak that is beautifully balanced without dominating.
