In the glass: Pale lemon straw. On the nose: Neutral and savoury with a slightly toasty lift. On the palate: Seamless with very restrained, almost Sancerre-like fruit, a lovely savoury mouth-feel and toasty complexity. Some barrel fermentation adds texture and interest.
