Dowie Doole Chenin Blanc 2017

Dowie Doole’s old vine Chenin Blanc is sourced from Australia’s oldest-known Chenin Blanc vineyard, planted in 1933. We loved the texture of this wine, which is reminiscent of the wines produced in its homeland of Vouvray, France.
 
In the glass: Yellow straw.
On the nose: Citrus and stonefruit lift.
On the palate: Full-bodied with complex lemon and pear flavour depth, yeasty complexity throughout and a fine line of acidity.
