Peter Lehmann Margaret Semillon 2008

Peter Lehmann Wines draws on a network of over 140 Barossa growers to produce wines of great distinction like this Gold medal winning Semillon. Named after Peter Lehmann’s wife and business partner, it has been released after five years cellaring.
 
It’s a bright medium gold green colour with lifted aromas of sunlight soap, lanolin and lemon myrtle. Layers of ripe lemon, lemongrass and lanolin on the palate are underpinned by a beeswax-like texture and developing honey and toast with persistent length and drive.
