Shottesbrooke Estate Series Chardonnay 2013

Chardonnay continues to be the most widely planted and successful white grape variety grown in the McLaren Vale region. The fruit for this 2013 Chardonnay was grown on the estate vineyards that surround the Shottesbrooke winery in McLaren Flat.
 
In the glass: Bright, pale gold.
On the nose: Grilled nuts, peach and melon fruit, and toasty vanillin oak.
On the palate: Full bodied, traditional style of Chardonnay with a complex combination of fruit and oak, crisp acidity and savoury length. A flavoursome and varietal package.
