The Adelaide Hills has adopted Grüner Veltliner and it’s proving to be Australia’s key area for its production.
In the glass: Pale straw with a faint green hue.
On the nose: Restrained, almost neutral aromas of lime and pear with faint notes
of pepper.
On the palate: Medium weight, dry and textural with a mouth-watering mix of light stonefruit, pear and citrus flavours, nutty, leesy depth and lovely textural length. This is a wonderful food wine.
