Wicks Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2012

The winemaker behind this wine is Tim Knappstein whose 40 plus years of experience in the Adelaide Hills shows in this outstanding Sauvignon Blanc.
 
Wicks Estate is highly regarded as one of the Adelaide Hills’ most reputable producers of Sauvignon Blanc and this very pale lemon coloured example shows why. On the nose there’s light tropical fruit with a floral lift. The palate is defined by spicy notes of ginger and herb, a creamy texture and hints of chalk on the zesty finish.
